It looks a remarkably simple book but that is deceiving. The more you look and handle this volume, the more you appreciate how right it is. The size, weight, feel, paper, print and binding, are all in harmony. As an object a Suntup book is a treasure to hold! The book and customer service were simply amazing. I am in awe of what Suntup is doing and I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in the future.

Trivia Will Smith grew so enamored of his canine co-star, Abbey, that he tried to adopt her when filming was finished, but the dog's trainer could not be persuaded to give her up. Goofs The central spans of the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridge are destroyed, but the towers and side spans remain standing which is impossible. If you cut the suspension cables, the whole bridge will collapse.
The towers are not strong enough to hold the cables - the weight of the side spans will pull them down. Crazy credits The title doesn't appear on screen until several minutes into the film. Alternate versions The ending to the Alternate Theatrical Version varies from the original ending.
Instead of blowing himself and the hemocytes up with a grenade, Neville discovers that the hemocytes actually came for the female he captured earlier in the movie. He relieves her of the cure and returns her to the hemocytes. Afterwards, the hemocytes leave and let Neville, Anna, and Ethan be. The three then are seen leaving New York heading to Vermont's safe zone with Anna broadcasting a message telling all other survivors that she is with Neville and is heading to the safe zone.
Connections Edited into The Arrivals User reviews 1. Top review. Entertaining but misses the point. If you are fan of Matheson's book prepare to be disappointed as the film entirely misses the point, especially when it comes to the title itself.
Having said that, taken on it's own merits the film is not all that bad. The opening half hour is well constructed and the lingering shots of a deserted NYC are quite effective.
Will Smith reigns in his usual on-screen persona to deliver a good performance as Robert Neville, although at times it does seem as though he's playing to an audience which is at odds with the permeating sense of isolation problems with the script rather than Smith himself. Aside from it's deviation from the book, the film's most glaring problem are the dark seekers themselves.
They are entirely rendered in by today's standards unconvincing cgi and therefore never quite achieve the feeling of menace we're supposed to feel.
