Sony handycam streaming software

My latest laptop i. Dell V series OS - Windows 10 is not recognizing the handycam in streaming mode. But if I shift to photo-mode, the data-card is readable. But at no point in time does my device manager or streaming media software shows the Sony handycam credentials as recognized.
